First off, you always want to be punctual. If you can, arrive at least 20 minutes early before your Broadway audition. It’s better to even be 1 hour early to your audition than it is to be 10 minutes late. This allows plenty of time to mingle, relax, take a breath, and also fill out any paperwork that needs to be done.

Next, don’t ever be rude to anyone at the Broadway audition – even to other participants. They may just be another person trying to take your spot, but you have to understand that everyone there is in the same position. Understanding that view point can get you farther in the long run.

Have you monologue ready and make sure that you have practiced it at few times the night before. Practice in front of the mirror and with friends and family. Since friends and family may be a bit less critical of you to not hurt your feelings, try taping yourself and watching your own subtle movements.
