America’s Got Talent Audition: What to Do
The first thing you need to do in order to get an America’s Got Talent audition is to pre-register. If you go to NBC.com and search for America’s Got Talent, you can pre-register using their form they have provided.
All participants who want to be in the show, and also who want to be a part of the America’s Got Talent audition require the pre-registration form. Usually you’ll have to wait for NBC to post open casting calls on their site and that means meticulously checking their site every day. This can be a big pain in the butt and also take a lot of resources.
America’s Got Talent Audition: Be sure to…
At the audition, be sure to arrive early. There definitely will be a lot of paperwork to fill out, so be prepared to arrive at the very least of 15 minutes ahead of your audition time. Coming from a casting director, this is one of their pet peeves is having to wait for the person if they have arrived late.
There is a lot of paperwork that you can do ahead of time or be prepared to have information on hand. For example, you’ll need a personal release form and a doctor’s release form for the America’s Got Talent audition.
Make sure that each participant has a photo ID handy and if possible 2 of them, just in case. Please note that to be eligible as a participant in an America’s Got Talent audition, the participants need to be legal residents in the United States or possess an up-to-date visa allowing them to work in the United States.
Minor have to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. If during the America’s Got Talent audition there are any acts involving animals, the proper paperwork from a veterinarian is required, such as if the animal is healthy and has all its shots. The immunization records and certificate of health is important.
Last, but most important tip is to be friendly. I have seen participants for auditions such as America’s Got Talent audition who are rude and just in a bad mood. The vibe they give off is something that you don’t want to be around. Just don’t be like that.
I hope these America’s Got Talent audition tips have helped you in your journey to become the next America’s Got Talent star.
